Every time we go home to visit family, my boyfriend's mom sends us home with food. Which is awesome, but sometimes it turns out to be stuff that we wouldn't actually eat. I certainly don't want to throw it out, and I don't want to pack it up and move it when we leave our current apartment. I twittered The Food Bank for NYC at FoodBank4NYC what I should do with this food, and they directed me to their food program locator that will help you find the closest place to drop off food stuff donations.

Food drives, pantries and kitchens
