Shorefront Y is in need of volunteers to assist with the following Hurricane Sandy relief opportunities in Brooklyn next week:
PLEASE NOTE: RUSSIAN SPEAKERS ARE ESPECIALLY NEEDED
Sunday, Dec. 23
Clean Up Help - 10 volunteers (volunteers with a car especially needed)
Supply Room Volunteers - 3 volunteers
Wednesday, December 26 until Friday, December 28
Canvas - Identify block leaders, building status, updated government information, at need residents.
Canvas - Coney Island private house canvas
Clean Up Help - teams of 4

I am currently suffering from a terrible chest cold or odd case of flu. I pray I may be available for the Shorefront Y December 25th thru 28th volunteer need. If not -- we may always hope for the future!!
