Help Feed Flatbush!

Volunteers Needed!

Food Distribution at COJO Flatbush

What?

Volunteers are needed to assist with monthly food distributions at one of Met Council’s twenty-five kosher food pantries.

On the last Tuesday of each month, the Council of Jewish Organizations of Flatbush provides nutritional assistance to needy families.

Volunteers are needed to intake clients at two back-to-back food distributions in the Flatbush neighborhood. Activities will include checking COJO Flatbush client ID cards against a list and directing clients to the distribution point.

Why?

The COJO Flatbush food distributions reach hundreds of clients each month. Through sites such as this, Met Council's Kosher Food Network is able to provide nutritious meals to those living in poverty. Come provide a positive and lasting impact on a person's life.

When?

Last Tuesday of each month

Where?

9:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Nostrand Avenue and Avenue I site
or
1:30 pm - 4:00 pm at the 1694 Ocean Ave. site
