2013 has been a momentous year for the Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty for several reasons. This year, we are celebrating our 40th anniversary! For 40 years, Met Council has been serving as an advocate and defender for individuals in crisis - a voice for an overlooked population - and creating solutions for the growing problem of poverty in New York City. We are one of the largest human services agencies, providing more than 100,000 New Yorkers with critical services in their fight against poverty and its effects every year.
As of today, we have relocated our main offices from our old location on 80 Maiden Lane, to
120 Broadway, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10271-0015.
