Goldman Sachs Employees Build a Children's Library

As part of Goldman Sach’s Community Team Works program, GS employees have the opportunity to volunteer for a full day and get paid for it! This year, GS is sponsoring five volunteer projects with Met Council and they will not only provide their employees as volunteers, but will also fund the projects. On May 8th, the first project took place with the volunteers completing a children’s library for our homeless shelter in Jamaica. The volunteers sorted through the books, catalogued them, and also built a bookshelf! We thank GS for their support and we look forward to the future GS projects to come.
